The process of designing a typical home renovation/addition project with me might include:
• an initial, no obligation, meeting at your house to discuss your project and look at sample photos of my work
• a written estimate including the design hours I anticipate to help you with your project
• measuring and photographing your house; reviewing your project goals with you at the same time
• drafting existing floor plans and exterior elevations of your house onto my computer
• sketching design ideas and options that might meet your goals
• design meeting(s) with you to review design sketches and discuss options
• preparing design plans and elevations reflecting our design meeting decisions
• design meeting(s) to finalize the design layout, finishes, fixtures and finishes
• preparing construction drawings for pricing and permit applications
• assistance with the construction process is available as well
All work is performed on an hourly basis at an affordable hourly rate.
